The Regional Tenant Advisory Leader is responsible for leading the Tenant Advisory practice across the Mid-Atlantic Region. 

It is also the responsibility of Regional Tenant Advisory Leader not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors but also to focus on productivity and results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with Regional Leadership to develop long term strategic goals for the Mid-Atlantic tenant advisory practice.

  • Develop a robust business plan for the Mid-Atlantic tenant advisory business

  • Serve as the advocate for the tenant advisory practice group and individual tenant advisor for tools and resources.

  • Create development and business plans in conjunction with junior and mid-level brokers; meet regularly with these brokers to review plan progress.

  • Serve, where appropriate, as point of contact for Tenant Advisory teaming on new assignments.

  • Recruit new brokers in conjunction with Mid-Atlantic leadership.

  • Develop retention plans for key brokers and work with leadership to ensure execution and reporting on these plans.

  • Partner with marketing to develop and ensure tenant advisory practice has compelling templates, pitch, and marketing materials.

  • Partner with research to highlight and produce deliverables on key market indices to promote tenant advisory brand.

  • Partner with Mid-Atlantic leadership on tenant advisory financial metrics for reporting, including monthly pipeline reporting and quarterly budget forecasting.

  • Develop tenant advisory training program to onboard and develop junior brokers skills.

  • Partner with Transwestern technology group to understand tools available and establish regular training for tenant advisory brokers on these tools.

  • Establish regular meetings with project services group to identify opportunities, understand offerings, and strategize on joint pursuits.

  • Lead regular tenant advisory meetings, both regional and by office, to discuss business line initiatives, trainings, or strategies.

  • Act as bridge between the Mid-Atlantic tenant advisory practice and Transwestern's national tenant advisory practice and other national resources and foster connections.

  • Partner with leadership on national and regional tenant advisory conferences, or other events, by developing programing and assisting with implementation.

  • Work with legal, as required, to execute tenant advisory client agreements.

  • Manage onboarding process for new brokers, including oversight of offer letters and agreements, financial modeling, and partnering with HR, legal, IT and other service lines, as needed.

  • Manage workplace strategy and financial analysis programs in Mid-Atlantic, including oversight of team members, understanding their offerings, and strategizing on how to develop workplace strategy.

  • Oversee governance of the tenant advisory group and serve as arbiter along with governance committee for any areas of client conflict.

  • Work with leadership and national team to ensure recognition of high producers on annual basis as well as program for recognizing accomplishments milestones throughout the year.

  • Operate as part of Mid-Atlantic leadership team and actively participating in regional leadership meetings such as our monthly Operations and Business Leaders meetings

  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related degree field.

  • A minimum of 8+ years of commercial real estate experience, 5+ of which focused on Tenant Advisory.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, CRM/Database Management, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

  • Basic understanding of financials and financial modeling.

  • A genuine collaborator and team-player with an inclusive mindset and ability to build great relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication and organization skills, with strong focus on customer service.

  • Flexible attitude, solution-focused and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • A strong desire to tackle new projects to assist a high performing team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Resourceful approach to effectively managing workloads to meet deadlines, while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain discretion regarding personnel and industry-related matters.

  • A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility, reliability, and responsiveness.

  • Uses a computer in conjunction with various software packages the majority of the day.

  • Uses office equipment (copiers, binders, phone system, etc.)

  • Uses audio-visual equipment.
