Description
Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a Cardiovascular Medical Director to join our West Michigan Cardiovascular Team located in Muskegon & Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This Medical Director role will provide oversight of the medical groups cardiovascular providers - ambulatory, inpatient, and procedural, collaborate with the Cardiovascular operations director in a dyad relationship, and have a reporting relationship to the medical group Chief Medical Officer.
Practice Features:
- Team is a part of The Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a joint venture between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health - West.
- Trinity Health Medical Group employs over 20 cardiologists and 3 vascular surgeons and has a network of over 850 providers.
- Clinical practice will be located in Muskegon.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have at least 5 years of medical practice experience and 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role or have completed training with demonstrated skills to work in the position.
- Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
- State of Michigan license required at time of employment
- DEA license
- ACLS & BLS certified
