Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 550 + provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join a 7-Physician, 6-CNM, 3-Women's Health APP practice.
The Saint Alphonsus Family Maternity Center is a 12-bed LDR, 12-suite post-partum, 5-suite anti-partum and level 3+ NICU facility located at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. With 1,200+ deliveries a year, the group is supported by an OB Hospitalist service and a strong RN team (all EFM certified) who serve as patient advocates. Additionally, there is onsite 24-hour anesthesia (CRNA) coverage on Labor & Delivery. Our safety-oriented team of OB/GYNs collaborate with on-campus MFM, Gyn-Onc, Neonatologists and genetic counselors to serve the region's diverse patient population.
This practice boasts a robust, high-volume gyn-surgery practice supported through a strong, employed primary care network and extended network of independent providers through the Saint Alphonsus Health Alliance. This is the perfect opportunity for an OB/GYN committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care who seeks the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional four-day work week plus call. Call is 1:7, shared equitably.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) (or obtain such certifications within 3 years of employment)
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
