Summary of Job Duties: The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role in patient care by emphasizing excellence, compassion, and evidence-based practice. This role supports the UAMS Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Outpatient Clinics in Northwest Arkansas. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, triage, coordination, and collaboration with providers, patients, and families. The RN will work with patients and referral sources to facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, obtain medical clearances, and provide education on complex conditions. The RN partners with patients, families, and providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program
- Valid Registered Nursing License
- Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information;
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when necessary.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
- BLS Current
Preferred Qualifications
- Orthopaedic experience a plus
