Summary of Job Duties: The Senior Clinical Therapist at the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) AR ConnectNow program will provide direct clinical services such as diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, and family therapy to patients using evidence-based interventions. The AR ConnectNow program was created in response to the urgent behavioral e-health COVID-19 crisis. All sessions are conducted via telephone or video, but are done so in the office.The Senior Clinical Therapist must meet a clinical productivity/service access expectation as set by the supervisor and the department.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social work, Counseling, or related field
- Current and valid license by Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must have the ability to make decisions related to treatment planning
- Must understand mental health diagnosis and treatment
- Adaptable technological skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of direct clinical outpatient behavioral health experience
Additional Information:
The Senior Clinical Therapist works directly under the supervision of the Clinical Therapist Supervisor, Program Manager, and/or Clinic Medical Director. In addition, the Senior Clinical Therapist will be responsible for ongoing communications with their supervisor and other members of the treatment team. They complete clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures. They will participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality provision and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification.
