Newborn Hearing Screening Technician
Location: Hyde Park
Shift: Full-Time (1.0) / First-Shift / 8-Hr Shifts

Under the general supervision of the Senior Audiologist in the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program, the newborn hearing screening technician is responsible for the preparation of patients, collection of information pertinent to the test, performance of the specified test and interpretation of the recording for the purpose of informing a physician of critical problems. The job requires 40 hours per week. Weekday and weekend hours will be required.
- High School Diploma required.
- One year experience in clinical care of patients required, preferably pediatrics.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to interface with physicians, patients, families and staff.
- Must satisfactorily complete on-the-job training in the use of AABR and DPOAE screeners.
