We're hiring a Project and Data Coordinatorat the University of Chicago Medical Center in Hyde Park, Illinois!
The Project and Data Coordinator provides support to the Comprehensive Stroke Program including its clinicians, administrators and various other interdisciplinary personnel. The Project and Data Coordinator is responsible for clinical and operational data collection and reporting and assures all are processed accurately and timely in compliance with AHA and Joint Commission requirements. The individual exemplifies the UCM mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with UCM policies and procedure.Project and Data Coordinator Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required/Master's degree preferred, with either coursework in health administration, project management or related experience preferred.
3 - 5 years project management experience desired.
Experience working in stroke is strongly preferred.
Strong evidence-based analytical approach to problem solving; equally strong written and verbal communication skills that will be used to synthesize information, formulate and implement proposals for change, and to objectively evaluate results and make practical recommendations.
Strong consensus building and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to facilitate work groups and both elicit and present data and ideas to diverse groups.
Highly organized to effectively plan, track, evaluate and follow-up on multiple projects for multiple people.
Sense of urgency around customer service and ability to model behavior to others.
Ability to collaborate and problem solve with peers and customers.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp the essence of an issue or problem and a curiosity to uncover facts.
Ability to both build a long-lasting solution and to provide quick fixes, and the judgment and expertise to distinguish which is appropriate in the given circumstance.
