Clinical Business Intelligence Analyst Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide statistical and data management experience as the assigned clinical studies' lead data analyst.
  • Install and maintain various software platforms.
  • Assist Information systems management and other organizational leaders.
  • Uses complex computer programs to mine data sources.
  • Assists in established departmental guidelines.
  • Possesses comprehensive skills and knowledge in the following areas:
    • Experience with database design and architecture.
    • Proficient with Discern Analytics.
    • Experience with BI Reporting Tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
    • Experience with all variants of SQL to store, query, and manipulate data.
    • Knowledge of database management languages such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
    • Experience with process automation.
    • Knowledge of ETL.
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R. Java, C++, PHP.
    • Comprehensive industry knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree required-IT related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with report writing and visualization.
  • Minimum 5 years' of experience working with clinical data.
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical background-experience/knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
  • This is an onsite position-remote opportunities are not available.
