Position Summary:

The incumbent will provide general administrative support for the Military Civilian Partnership and Education Division. Individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the daily operational functions associated with administrative, teaching, research and other services for education programs.

$27.34 - $39.18 (Hourly Rate)


Required:

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of campus and hospital administration, faculty, staff, patients, and the public while maintaining strict confidentiality on sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy; experience working in an academic, medical or research setting. · Previous experience working in a University environment. · Excellent interpersonal skills · Strong communication skills, both oral and written · Skills to compose correspondence · Skill for attentive and detail-oriented manuscript editing, reference management, and proofreading with care · Fast and accurate typing with emphasis on accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation · Experience working with Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint graphics software · Ability to work independently · Ability to manage ongoing, multiple tasks and deal with deadlines in fast paced, dynamic environment · Ability to accurately track complicated calendars and follow through multiple tasks meeting deadlines. · Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


Preferred:

Familiarity with UC policies and procedures. · Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical transcription. · Ability to develop slide presentations, use scanning, LCD projector and other wireless devices. · Experience with travel arrangements and meeting planning.
