Position Summary: 

Under the direction of the Director of Facility Services, the Craftsman performs a variety of skilled mechanical tasks in the repair, servicing, and general maintenance of the hospital physical plant and equipment, such as boilers, pumps, air conditioning equipment, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. 

Required Qualifications:

1) Must have valid California Driver's License 

2)  Three years previous hospital maintenance experience required 

3) Nonviolent crisis intervention training required within 90 days of hire 

Preferred:  1) High school or vocational school graduate preferred 2) Courses related to mechanics, refrigeration, and boiler operations desirable
