The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (www.UVMHealth.org/CVPH) in Plattsburgh, NY seeks a hand/upper extremity orthopedic surgeon to join its practice. The opportunity entails 50% sub-specialty, 25% general orthopedics and 25% trauma.
The compensation range is: $580,000-$630,000 The incoming physician will also provide some coverage at our affiliate critical care access hospital located one hour away (www.UVMHealth.org/AHMC). CVPH is a certified Level III trauma center that works closely with UVM Medical Center, a Level I trauma center located one hour away, to provide orthopedic trauma support for northern NY. Practice in a collaborative environment in new state-of-the-art space with access to the latest technology and an ambulatory surgery center. J1's and H1B's considered. Plattsburgh (www.NorthCountryGoodLife.com) offers a family-oriented community on Lake Champlain, near the Adirondack Mountains, the Olympic-Lake Placid region, Burlington, VT and Montreal.
