Valley Sports Physicians / The New England Stem Cell Institute is a leader in the field of non-surgical orthopedics and regenerative medicine. Founder Paul Tortland DO is an internationally recognized expert and pioneer in the field of regenerative medicine and orthobiologics. He was the first clinician in New England, and among the earliest in the country, to begin offering PRP treatments (2007), autologous bone marrow-derived stem cell treatments (2008), and autologous adipose-derived stem cell treatments (2009). He speaks and teaches at national and international meetings and courses. He is also an international expert in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, having started with MSK US in 2008, far earlier than most in the country. As a result, VSP/NESCI has become a highly regarded practice, helping patients from all over the country suffering from acute and chronic neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions and acute & chronic sports injuries. In addition to treating MSK conditions, VSP/NESCI also performs cosmetic procedures, including PRP for hair growth, PRP facials, and PRP for male and female sexual dysfunction (the "P-Shot" and the "O-Shot", respectively).
We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is one who is interested in non-surgical musculoskeletal medicine (i.e., PMR/ortho), enjoys performing procedures and is both willing and eager to learn. Candidates MUST have excellent eye-hand coordination and psychomotor skills. New/recent grads are preferred. PAs with PMR and/or ortho experience will also be preferentially considered.
We are located in the heart of southern New England, in the greater Hartford, CT area. The region boasts an active 4-season lifestyle. We are 1 hour from the beaches, 2 hours from Vermont skiing, and 2 hours each way to Boston and NYC. There is a strong recreational athletic community, with an educated and active patient base.
The practice is largely cash-based. We accept insurance 1 day/week, and only for new patient consults. We do NOT participate in Medicare, Medicaid, personal injury, or Worker's Compensation. There is no hospital work and no nights/weekends. We offer a generous benefits package that also includes paid training.

Details:
Compensation package will also include training in diagnostic and interventional MSK ultrasound and in regenerative medicine treatments, including prolotherapy, PRP, and cosmetic procedures. New hire will be sent to numerous formal training courses.

Up To: 140000.0 Annually
