Growing private practice in Rhode island is looking to add a Generalist Obgyn.

Position is for growth and increasing demand in the community. Experienced or new graduates are welcome to apply.

Join an amazing practice , lead by a seasoned OBGYN physician , with extensive minimally invasive experience ,including robotic gynecology. The group includes one nurse practitioner, 2 midwives, one physician assistant and one nurse. This is a fun workplace where everyone enjoys their work and working environment. Additional hospital calls available with more opportunity for additional income. Three to 4 weeks paid vacation per year. Employee expense account for CME and other expenses. • We see a diverse population from the whole state and neighboring states
• Strong focus on minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery, hysteroscopic procedures (both in the office and at hospitals), and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
• There is a great mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Academic affiliation with Brown University allows working with medical students, Obgyn and family medicine residents at Women and Infants and Kent hospital
• Required call coverage out of Kent hospital only. Cross Obstetric coverage with different private and hospital based Obstetricians, with additional laborist coverage. Coverage pool includes family medicine Ob fellowship trained physicians. Backup schedules out of one hospital
• Hospital primary call one night/week, one weekend/month. Additional paid hospital coverage opportunities out of kent and Women and Infants hospitals.
• Very accessible Perinatologists, MFM and Gynecological Oncologist and all other medical and surgical referral needs.
• The lead physician is always available to help, assist, mentor and backup.
• We are looking for someone with good bedside manner and a team player.
• The office is state of the art with 9 total exam rooms, including minor procedure rooms, with many procedures done in the office. Office is located 10 minutes from the hospital, 10 minutes from downtown Providence with ample free parking space.
• Non stress tests and advanced ultrasounds in many exam rooms.
• Level I OB and GYN ultrasounds done in the office by experienced ultrasound technicians.
• Epic EMR system throughout the office.
• The practice admits to Kent hospital, a top community hospital. High risk admissions patients and patients with anticipated need of Level III NICU are admitted to Women and Infants hospital. Both hospitals are affiliated within the same healthcare system with ongoing standardization of care and collaboration.

• Partnership track available, but not required.

Compensation Information:
$250000.0 / Annually - $250000.0 / Annually
Details:
Compensation paid biweekly. Commensurate with experience. Affected by work hours, vacation time elected and hospital calls taken.
