Franciscan Medical Group, along with the Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH, is actively recruiting for an additional licensed Physician Assistant to join our busy practice based in Tacoma, Washington.
We are looking for a well-rounded, mature individual with several years of PA surgical experience. Vascular Surgery APP experience is preferable but will consider experienced candidates with surgery experience in other surgical specialties.
Work duties include clinic, hospital rounds, and assisting in the operating room. There is an on-call requirement (1 weekday per week after 5 pm and one weekend call every 4-5 weeks). The call requirement for the weekend is rounds, consults, and potential operating room assisting as decided by the vascular surgeon on call.
The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high-volume program and provide care for over 200,000 patients in our clinics annually. We also provide inpatient services for our healthcare system which includes over 1500 beds and 3 tertiary care hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.
Requirements:
- Current Washington State P.A. license and certification or Physician Assistant license and certification, with prescriptive authority
- CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of surgery experience as PA.

SALARY: $118,000–160,000
