Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join our team at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center.

Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center (AMC) is a 762-licensed state-designated Level I Trauma Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center in the heart of Atlanta.

Wellstar Neurosurgery Group at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center provides state of the art cutting edge care to patients with tumors, degenerative spine, cerebral aneurysms, arteriorvenous malformation (AVM), intracranial stenosis, tumor embolization, carotid and intracranial atherosclerosis, subarachanoid hemorrhage ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (ruptured aneurysm), vascular malformations of the brain and spinal cord and peripheral nerves conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome.

Wellstars bi-plane vascular suite and dedicated Neurosurgical operating rooms are equipped with advanced computerized systems allowing for intraoperative monitoring and highly advanced procedures to treat the most complex neurosurgical emergency and elective surgeries.


  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or equivalent
  • Clinical residency in Neurosurgery
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid State of Georgia Medical License
  • DEA License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board ofNeurological Surgery
