Performs duties including, but not limited to, electronic scheduling and patient registration, typing, filing, answering telephone, copying, medical records, interfacing with the public, posting charges, posting co-payments, customer service and interaction with third party payers. *CA
Work related Experience: Previous physician office experience preferred. Insurance billing experience preferred. Coding certification preferred.
Formal Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional relevant experience/education or certification required: Proficient in appropriate computer programs, electronic scheduler, and patient registration. Excellent communication, organizational, verbal, and written skills. Ability to multitask.
