White Plains Hospital Physician Associates has an exciting opportunity for a Wound Care Director to join our growing team of top-ranked physicians. The selected candidate will play a key role in caring for patients with hard-to-heal wounds and infections at White Plains Hospital's Carl Weber Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine while upholding our commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

They will lead an interdisciplinary team of expert wound care specialists including general surgeons, vascular surgeons, infectious disease physicians, plastic surgeons, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists and specialized wound care technicians.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with wounds, including traumatic injuries, burns, venous stasis ulcers, arterial insufficiency wounds, diabetic wounds, skin and soft tissue infections, and postoperative wounds.
  • Serve as strategic and administrative leader for wound healing services, including design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive clinical, operational, and financial framework across our organization.

Schedule and location:

  • Care for patients 3 days a week at the Carl Weber Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Surgery
  • Wound care certifications and advanced training and experience in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
  • Medical Degree from an accredited university
  • New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven health system
