Reports To: Director of Respiratory Services Job Summary The Sleep Lab Office Coordinator assists, organizes, supports, and maintains all non-clinical functions of the Wilson Health Sleep Center. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer phones, retrieve documents, and process physician billing
- Schedule diagnostic procedures and patient appointments
- Maintain linen supply and ensure clean linens for patient rooms
- Use computer and word processing skills for reports and documentation
- Process all diagnostic reports
- Assist with staff and patient scheduling and meeting arrangements
- Manage supplies: ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory
- Coordinate patient DME facilitation with approved vendors
- Maintain, copy, and organize department/patient forms
- Follow hospital policies, disaster/fire manuals, and infection control procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer and office equipment skills
- Previous medical office or scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred
