Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Reports To: Director of Respiratory Services Job Summary The Sleep Lab Office Coordinator assists, organizes, supports, and maintains all non-clinical functions of the Wilson Health Sleep Center. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, retrieve documents, and process physician billing
  • Schedule diagnostic procedures and patient appointments
  • Maintain linen supply and ensure clean linens for patient rooms
  • Use computer and word processing skills for reports and documentation
  • Process all diagnostic reports
  • Assist with staff and patient scheduling and meeting arrangements
  • Manage supplies: ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory
  • Coordinate patient DME facilitation with approved vendors
  • Maintain, copy, and organize department/patient forms
  • Follow hospital policies, disaster/fire manuals, and infection control procedures
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills
  • Previous medical office or scheduling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred
