Join our dynamic Yardi team as a Customer Service Specialist, where your passion for providing exceptional service will make a direct impact on our clients and residents using the Yardi Resident Shield product. In this role, you'll handle a high volume of inbound calls, emails, and chats, ensuring our clients receive phenomenal support. Your role is crucial in partnering with client management teams and onsite leasing staff, providing policy confirmations, addressing system issues, and verifying rate information. With your keen attention to detail and collaborative spirit, you'll work closely with the client services team and IT to enhance our service delivery. If you're a proactive problem-solver ready to tackle special projects and ensure the accuracy of important documents, we want you on our team!

What You'll Do:

  • Answer high volume calls up to 30-50 per day from residents regarding billing, policy coverage, and policy purchases.
  • Provide support to the client's property management team and onsite leasing staff on policy confirmations, systems issues, and rate information verification.
  • Verify new addresses or added units and ensures listed rate information is correct.
  • Support the Resident Shield CSD team and works with IT to provide feedback from clients on any website issues or needed updates insurance carrier information.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for processing policy cancellations.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance license.
  • One plus (1+) years of customer service experience.
  • Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent phone demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and internal team members.
  • Customer service focused mindset.
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Ideal to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
