About the Role:
We're on the hunt for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll design and develop innovative software solutions that power both internal operations and external client experiences. You'll lead projects, influence best practices, and bring your expertise to everything from coding and reporting to testing and maintenance. Your deep knowledge across multiple domains will help shape the future of our development standards. What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, test, and implement complex software enhancements and new products.
- Lead small projects, coordinate tasks, and review team member contributions.
- Maintain and improve existing applications, troubleshooting issues and delivering timely solutions.
- Utilize approved CRM and reporting tools to track issues and generate or modify reports.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer/Engineering Science or equivalent experience
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience using VB.NET or SQL (or equivalent programming tools) in an application development environment
- Five (5) years of experience in accounting or Web applications development
- Five (5) years of programming experience
- Independent problem solving and analysis skills
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Client-centered commitment and focus
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Collegial, team-oriented disposition with the desire and ability to establish cooperative working relationships with employees at all levels within Yardi, outside of Yardi, and with clients

Annual Salary Range: $145,600 - $163,700
