THE ROLE:
We are seeking a seasoned verification engineer with expertise in multiple verification methodologies. You have had significant success driving testbench architecture and verification strategies, while taking a hands-on roll creating testbenches and finding bugs. You have worked on complex IPs and SoCs, and know where and when to apply UVM, Formal Tools, Emulation, and other verification techniques. You've seen verification done right, and wrong, and you have a passion for growing the engineers around you by teaching them what you know.

You have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through technical publications, presentations, trainings, executive briefings, etc. You are highly adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and engineers alike, ready to mentor and guide, and help to elevate the knowledge and skills of the team around you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define verification strategy for large and complex IPs and subsystems containing multiple IPs, including simulation, FPV, and emulation.
- Participate in architectural and microarchitectural discussion and signoff, giving active feedback to the designers to improve the design.
- Write testplans and test lists, driving signoff including effort estimates and collaborating with management on task assignments.
- This is a hands-on technical role from concept through tapeout. You will participate in the creation of the testbench and tests, debug failures, and find and file bugs.
- When necessary, support Post-Si teams for Product Performance, Power and functional issues debug/resolution.
- Grow the other engineers in the team through coaching, mentoring, and technical training.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Outstanding foundation in verification, including planning and execution of simulation, formal, and emulation testplans.
- Experience with complex, high speed IPs, especially networking, Ethernet, PCIE, or similar IPs.
- Experience analyzing systems to identify potential hazards like performance bottlenecks and deadlocks within different workloads.
- Expertise in simulation for power analysis.
- Excellent communication, management, and presentation skills.
- Adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and senior architects with strong interpersonal skills to work across teams in different geographies
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
