Why This Role Matters:
MVH is seeking a forward-thinking, collaborative, and strategic Global Talent Director to manage, execute and continuously evolve enterprise-wide talent development strategies. This role will play a pivotal part in developing inclusive processes and managing/integrating existing processes/programs into our global MVH organization.
As the Global Talent Director, you will serve as a key driver of initiatives that support leadership capability, succession readiness, and career growth across MVH. This leader will partner with Mars Inc., internal stakeholders and our BUs to embed talent into our people strategy, operational practices, and Associate experience – ensuring every associate feels valued, heard and empowered to thrive.
You Will:
- Co-create and deliver MVH Global Talent Strategy. Partner closely with the director of global talent to shape and implement a unified global talent strategy the spans talent development and talent management.
- Define multi-year goals and annual talent priorities which support our business objectives.
- Partner with leaders in P&O to identify and prioritize talent development needs
- Support and evolve enterprise-wide talent management processes including MDR (talent reviews, succession planning, coaching/mentoring etc) and PDP.
- Guide the development of capability frameworks and tools to assess, develop and retain top talent across MVH ecosystem.
- In partnership with MVH Learning team, design, scale and enhance learning experiences that grow leadership capabilities at all levels.
- Oversee development efforts, including cohort programs (Trailblazers, Mars U, coaching and mentoring etc).
- Use talent data and insights to inform talent strategies to measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Data and Analytics team to develop and maintain talent dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Translate insights from succession plans, performance trends and learning data into actionable talent development strategies.
- Serve as a trusted partner to global, regional and BU leaders, ensuring consistency and relevance of talent solutions across MVH.
- Actively support change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies to drive adoption and impact.
- Contribute to building a global talent culture that emphasizes associate growth, internal mobility and equity in opportunity.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Your Experience Should Include:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years leading enterprise talent strategy in a complex, multi-site organization.
- Strong background in change management, leadership coaching, and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, translate insights into action, and influence at all levels of an organization.
- Veterinary, healthcare, or service industry experience preferred but not required.

Salary range: $134,200 - $209,688

Special Working Considerations:
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
