Description

 This position will be assigned responsibilities involving the planning, support, and rollout of SAP project initiatives primarily the SAP Order-to-Cash process in an SAP Fiori environment.  He/she will support operations include end user assistance, system troubleshooting, and configuration of the core SAP modules specifically SAP Sales & Distribution and Logistics, as well as, other areas, as needed.  The Senior SD Business Analyst (BA) will act as the point of contact for all SAP functional projects taken on and then develop teams consisting of other technical resources and end users, wherever needed to successfully complete engagements.  The SAP Senior SD Business Analyst will partner with internal customers to identify needs and opportunities for SAP solutions. The SAP Senior SD BA will analyze business process gaps, develop test plans, and translate requirements into specs.  The Senior SD BA will provide functional support for Master Data Governance and Master Data troubleshooting and will need to understand the touch points for Sales & Distribution execution with Site Master, Customer Master Data, Billing, and Financial Postings

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and lead SAP improvement efforts in conjunction with IT and key business leaders
  • Work with other functional teams to ensure various components work together to meet the operational goals of the solution keeping in mind, the integration, quality, and performance of the deliverables
  • Drive changes and enhancements through the change management process.  This would include project management; communication with stakeholders, users, and developers; functional unit tests; user acceptance tests; cutover tasks, and ongoing support
  • Participate in project and design reviews and ensure that these meet BDF's design principles and standards
  • Coordinate with the SAP training staff to deliver professional and succinct training materials for SAP functionality
  • Direct master data uploads and other annual system activities that are required for business continuity
  • Act as liaison and point of communications for SAP related issues between SAP and management
  • Manage end user support needs by coordinating training where required and initiating system projects where changes in SAP configuration or programming are required
  • Successfully support SAP process changes and major data conversion efforts and have ownership and accountability for technical SAP support
  • Act as a liaison between the Information Technology Department, Users and Managers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required: IT / Business or equivalent preferred
  • Must have seven to ten years of experience in SAP SD configuration and support, or minimum of ten years' experience with SAP as power user combined with significant subject matter expertise
  • Strong knowledge of SAP applications primarily SAP SD as well as, working knowledge of MM, FI and Logistics
  • Experience working in an SAP Fiori environment
  • Knowledge of SAP EWM, SAP BW, and other third-party applications like Vistex, DispatchTrack, Cloud Logistics, etc. preferred
  • Knowledge of debugging SAP ABAP program would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge about project management tools, as well as project management methodologies as applied to IT initiatives.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, Internet Use, Intranet and basic computer knowledge as well as basic troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent Communications skills; ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered in appropriate circumstances
  • Strong skillset in the use of computerized spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of business processes, principles, and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare business analysis and plans
  • Demonstrated ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide of variety of diverse resources with varying degrees of technological expertise
