Description
The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for accurately picking product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties.
All positions with Bob's Discount Furniture are very physical in nature!! So, you can forget that gym membership – You will be getting a great work out here! Keep in mind you are moving FURNITURE ALL DAY LONG! Some of these pieces can weigh up to 250 lb. or more! Don't sweat it though, we have great physical Trainers and Medical professionals on-site to aid you in your time working here!
What Will You Be Doing?
Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
Unload product from cherry picker lift to the staging area at the dock.
Move product from storage rack onto the lift.
Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community
All other duties as assigned (we're a team here!)
What we are looking for:
High School or equivalent work experience
Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air.
Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department, which includes availability for weekends
Must be able to pass physical assessment with a push or pull requirement up to 250 lbs.
