Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join a Specialty Pharmacy in San Francisco.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you would work under the direct supervision and guidance of a pharmacist as part of the team to ensure patients receive specialty medication in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, accurately entering prescription information, contacting patients to arrange delivery or set pickup date, corresponding with prescribers to clarify prescription information, filling prescriptions, preparing orders for delivery, mantaining adequate inventory, resolving insurance issues, assisting with prior authorization submission, helping walk-in customers, performing cash register transactions.
Active California State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
Experience in retail and or mail order facility.
Excellent customer service skills.
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
