The Business Intelligence Analyst will be based in Fremont, CA. Onboarding will be virtual for the time being with occasional socially distanced meetings at a Nextracker office. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Director of Information Technology. The Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with internal teams to identify business requirements, metrics and KPIs.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do…
Develop a deep understanding of business domain knowledge
Work across cross-functional partners to perform business analysis and translate into technical requirements
Spearhead the integration of new data sources and platforms.
Define analytics and visualization tooling requirements and if necessary, lead the vendor evaluation process
Contribute to data architecture design and create data pipelines using ETL principles
Identify and resolve data integrity issues
Enforce the best practices on UX designs
Develop frameworks to establish data governance and privacy compliance
Work with stakeholders closely and deliver artifacts based on agile principles
Design prototypes, recommend and build best graphs to tell stakeholders' stories effectively, and share business insights clearly using Power BI
Create simple machine learning models
Provide both verbal and written weekly status updates to all stakeholders
Initiate BI projects without being asked when needs arise
Here is some of what you'll need (required)…
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
3 years of work experience in IT or other related fields
Technical breadth and strong communication and judgement skills
Ability to understand both the business side, and data engineering side of BI
