Job Description

We're looking for a top-notch Senior Social Media Manager to drive our social strategy and execution in support of our business objectives. If you're well-versed in influencer and advocacy relationship building, executive and employee training and enablement, we would love to hear from you.

You know the ins and outs of surfacing, engaging and nurturing influencers and advocates; have solid experience in training and enabling employees and executives; and you are passionate about using social media to find and connect with prospective employees. You love to build things and know how to balance your creative and analytical sides.

You will be part of a cross-functional team to bring high-impact social initiatives to life and drive them internally as well as externally. You will be working closely with corporate marketing, corporate communications, regional marketing and communications, executives, various business groups and HR.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Create and evangelize a social media training and enablement program
  • Drive social training and governance into company-wide learning efforts
  • Guide participants on social best practices; and monitor and enforce social media policy compliance
  • Partner with executives to launch and grow executive social program
  • Jump-start, manage and evolve our social advocacy and influencer initiative
  • Operationalize and scale your functional area across the company in partnership with corporate marketing and corporate communications
  • Design and create content, editorial calendar and cadence in tight collaboration with content marketing for an on-going pipeline of executive, employee, influencer and advocate activations
  • Leverage and build upon content marketing and editorial content efforts within corporate marketing, and apply them to the executive, employee, influencer and advocacy initiatives
  • Recommend and develop high-impact social programs and campaigns to drive brand preference
  • Implement a “test and learn” approach to improve the impact of our efforts
  • Monitor and report on the impact of our initiatives, make recommendations that will make a difference for our business
  • Proactively integrate social media with other parts of the business--online and offline
  • Keep a pulse on latest social trends, tools and best practices

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to demonstrate success that drove tangible business results
  • Strategic mind with the ability to turn concepts into actions
  • Exceptional writing skills, a storyteller at heart
  • Experience creating compelling messages for different audiences and buyer journey stages
  • Deep understanding of the role of social media in integrated marketing and communications
  • Excellent time management, program management and organizational skills
  • A stellar communicator and presenter
  • Ability to collaborate across groups and influence strategic initiatives
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Agility and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with online crisis management
  • Positive attitude and a sense of ownership for deliverables
