Position Summary:

The FOX Apparel Product Line Manager will own and lead the line management and business strategy of our growing soft goods lines. They will apply market insights and intelligence to the product strategy, positioning, and messaging across all soft goods lines with a primary focus on Race Face and Fox branded collections. Collaborating with cross functional partners this role will lead the selection of new projects balancing the needs of the business and brands. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide competitive analysis including analyzing data, market trends, identifies market opportunities, advises on pricing and promotional decisions, and provides recommendations and guidance.

  • Act as business advocate responsible for interpreting market trends, generating consumer feedback, identifying growth opportunities, idea generation and communication back to the organization.

  • Identify target markets and market penetration strategies.

  • Define product strategy including product diversification, features and options; Translate product strategy into detailed requirements.

  • Act as Customer Advocate and Voice Of The Customer; Understand the aspects of a customer's business which applies to our product offerings by capturing and articulating market problems and translating them into market requirements for product management including design, performance needs, features and options.

  • Monitor the creation and development of new products, performing ongoing market research, tracking customer satisfaction, participating in the product decision making process, and measuring product success.

  • Coordinate product introduction and market exploitation.

  • Discern and generate business cases for product extensions and product enhancements.

  • Aware of customer needs, competitors' product offerings, customer's buying preferences, and competitive advantage/disadvantage.

  • Participate in industry associations to become familiar with the major contractors/dealers in the industry; Plan and attend trade-shows and events for the specific markets.

  • Review revenue, model mix and configuration sales trends.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Deep apparel product knowledge specifically in the outdoor industry.

  • Strong product line management experience, crafting the positioning and strategy of an apparel line.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners with the ability to gain enrollment. 

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Computer proficient, with ability to learn and leverage new programs.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree or similar experience.

Experience: 

  • 4+ years' experience working as a product line manager or similar role for a global brand

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Office environment

  • Work related travel up to 20% of time.

  • Vision abilities to write, read and work in an office
