Description

The Sr. Purchasing Analyst, PO Management carries out auditing activities, collects data related to current processes and offers suggestions on improvements and efficiencies

 Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to understand business processes and design/implement effective and efficient solutions to organize, streamline and control related data
• Monitors master data accuracy in Oracle and addresses discrepancies
• Ensures that all urgent Purchase Orders are booked, shipped and prioritized throughout the supply chain and     receiving at distribution centers
• Carries out regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of Open Purchase Orders
• Drives new reporting and exception management to manage a level flow of containers
• Prepares structured reports of the auditing activities and implements appropriate corrective actions
• Hands on experience in designing reports including MS Excel, Access, Powerpoint
• Develop presentation materials for Leadership
• Provides professional support in global projects and activities in order to improve the efficiency of the purchasing function
• Work with management to define the short term and long-term objectives

Requirements

Education (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent combination of certifications and related experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Inventory management
  • Excellent computer skills, including, Oracle, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Highly detail oriented, motivated self-starter with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • 3+ Years of experience in building system driven solutions to streamline processes
  • 5+ Years of experience in Inventory/Purchasing environment
