***POSITION IS FOR THE TULSA OFFICE***

***THIS IS NOT A TELECOMMUTER ROLE, BUT A HYBRID/FLEX WORK SCHEDULE***

 

BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining a medical quality improvement program to meet external regulatory and accreditation requirements, including but not limited to preventive care programs and Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Sets reporting. Conducts occasional On-site facility visits to participating network providers as part of their credentialing/re-credentialing cycles. Develop, monitor and maintain appropriate quality management strategies and programs to enhance general health care outcomes. Assist in development, implementation and evaluation of population based preventive care programs.  Participate in activities such as literature review to identify appropriate recommendations for quality improvement initiatives, population assessment and development of data collection tools. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Registered Nurse (RN) with unrestricted, current license in state of operations.
*3 years clinical experience.
*Quality improvement or quality management experience to include Total Quality Management (TQM)/Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) concepts.
*Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, managed care products and programs and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), URAC or other accrediting agency standards.
*Project management and program development experience.
*Verbal and written communication skills.
*PC experience to include Microsoft Office.
