QA Inspector
Location: Upper Chichester, PA
Pay range: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1st Shift)
Note: This role includes two weeks of paid training in Texas or Baton Rouge.
This position is with a global manufacturer specializing in industrial flow control solutions, including engineered valves and related products used in critical industries worldwide. The Upper Chichester site supports manufacturing and inspection operations with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Job SummaryThe QA Inspector is responsible for performing documented inspections to verify that parts and assemblies meet applicable drawings, procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards by supporting Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), project quality plans, and required quality documentation. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor/Manager.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform and document dimensional and visual inspections per drawings and procedures

Document nonconforming material using the NCR process

Review and verify internal and external qualifications (suppliers, welders, NDE personnel)

Review and approve supplier manufacturing and testing documentation

Support customer and authorized inspection body document approvals as required

Prepare and define test and inspection requirements, including ITPs and procurement specs

Maintain and control project-required QC documentation

Perform other duties as assigned

3–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience

High School Diploma or GED
-
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards

Experience writing work instructions

Knowledge of quality standards, laws, and regulations (national & international)

Experience with inspection equipment used in machining, assembly, and testing

Safety-related experience

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Positive, flexible, and eager-to-learn attitude

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel occasionally for training

Knowledge of welding, NDE, and quality systems

Experience using CMMs
