The Internal Communications Manager is a dynamic and experienced leader who plays a crucial role within an organization by overseeing and facilitating effective communication strategies and practices that enhance the flow of information among employees.

The primary goal of this role is to ensure that all staff members are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's goals, culture, and updates. This position will also need to support Sr. Leadership in their communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborates: with MarCom team on coordinating communications
  • Developing Communication Strategies: Crafting and executing targeted internal communication strategies to ensure timely, accurate information flow, using the most effective channels tailored to organizational needs and employee preferences.
  • Content Creation: Writing, editing, and managing internal communication materials like newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and presentations, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with the company's voice.
  • Employee Engagement: Initiating activities that enhance the work environment and boost employee engagement, such as town hall meetings, roundtable discussions, and feedback sessions to foster open dialogue throughout the organization.
  • Change Management: Effectively communicating organizational changes like strategic updates, policy shifts, or leadership transitions to facilitate employee understanding and adaptation, maintaining transparency to build trust and minimize resistance.
  • Crisis Communication: Handling crisis communications to deliver calm and accurate messages, addressing employee concerns and preserving organizational stability during challenging times.
  • Feedback Mechanisms: Setting up and sustaining feedback channels to measure internal communication effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, utilizing tools like surveys and feedback forms.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborating with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated communication strategies, aligning messages across the organization.
  • Training and Development: Providing training and guidance to leaders and staff on effective communication practices, including meeting conduct, internal communication writing, and employee engagement techniques.
  • Measuring Effectiveness: Continuously evaluating the impact of internal communications using metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies to better meet employee and organizational needs.
  • Assist with special marketing initiatives and projects as required.
  • Identifying and building other communication products.
Required Skills
  • At least 8 years of experience.

  • Problem-Solving: Quickly resolves issues and aligns internal interests.
