Job SummaryAs an Associate Systems Administrator you will manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure the availability, security, and performance of business-critical applications. Responsibilities include system configuration, user support, security audits, data backups, and contributing to long-term IT strategy, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
Job Responsibilities• Administer and maintain computer systems, servers, and network connections to ensure security, availability, and performance.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and business applications.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, workstation connectivity, and Internet applications.
• Perform routine system backups, restores, audits, and maintenance.
• Support application development and testing processes, including system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Plan and implement IT policies, upgrades, and disaster recovery strategies aligned with company goals and compliance requirements.
• Analyze performance metrics, maintain reports, and provide regular status updates.
• Deliver technical support to end users and resolve issues in coordination with service vendors and IT staff.
• Associate's degree in business administration, management information systems, mathematics, information technology, or computer sciences and 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to successfully interact with other IT professionals and end-users
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Open and responsive to change and demonstrates a commitment to the process of continuous improvement by identifying and responding actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers
