Job Summary Job Responsibilities- Manage the company's inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products
- Manage the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies
- Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects
- Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items
- Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances
- Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs
- Plan and coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses
- Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling
- Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
- May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
