Job Summary

Join our Program Management Office (PMO) in Menomonee Falls, WI! This is a paid summer college intern opportunity in our Programs organization. PMO interns work closely with and assist staff with various assignments. The summer intern program consists of 10-12 weeks of hands-on, real world experience in a career development environment. Participation in the intern program gives preference for future semesters as an intern/co-op within DRS Naval Power Systems. A typical student will participate in 2+ semesters as an intern/co-op at DRS throughout their junior and senior years.

What You Will Do
  • Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and allow you to learn new things
  • Gather and assemble data for program managers
  • Observe customer requirements and learn more about how DRS supports the customer and our Navy partners
  • May be required to help in research in a particular field
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the program management staff, methods, programs and practices
  • Work cross-functionally to understand how the PMO interacts with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Current accredited college or university enrollment; making progress towards an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field
  • Grade point average of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to successfully interact with other professionals and excited to learn more about the program activities at a defense contractor!

U.S. Citizenship required.
