Overview
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the service development and maintenance of a specific business domain within Send program. You will own the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions. The engineering lead will engage with the product owner, development team, scrum master, and related teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers.

Role
• Accountable for leading the end-to-end lifecycle of the software products for a business domain of Mastercard Send
• Guide the team in planning, designing, and developing solutions to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes, and best practices
• Contribute ideas to help ensure that the highest quality outcomes are consistently delivered
• Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies and frameworks
• Participate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the department with the selection of Vendor Solutions, Technologies, Methodologies, and Frameworks
• Contribute in building strong team for the program by participating in hiring process, evaluating team members performance, mentoring them to grow in their career

• A track record of leading high-performing teams delivering complex API applications
• Expert-level experience in building Java Spring applications on modern architecture (think microservice-based cloud native apps)
• You are a self-driven and motivated developer who enjoys working in a team. Your best work is done in collaboration with your team members.
• You pay attention to details, you are reliable and you are pragmatic about your work
• Technologies we use:
• Java, Spring Boot, Maven
• Oracle, Kafka, & Redis
• Git, Dynatrace, Splunk, PCF
