Job Title

Manager, Network Operations (Night shift)- Position with advanced understanding and thorough knowledge of Network operations with solid knowledge of required services.

- Provides management direction and recommends directions based on established policy. Leads and manages staff and assures staffing, training and objective setting for teams.
- Recommends policy changes as appropriate.
- Provides technical support for MasterCard's operations environment with an emphasis on networking technologies.

Major Accountabilities:
•Plan, coordinate and implement change within the network environment.
•Provide business knowledge and technical support for department.
•Provide leadership, direction and supervision to staff.
•Ensure area is adequately staffed and managed; personnel have appropriate training and skills resulting in successful behaviors.
•Perform strategic planning, financial planning, administration and management of department.
•Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications.
•Provide management level status reports.
•Coordinate multiple project efforts.

Education: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
•Must be able to demonstrate management of NOC related experience, including application of extended expertise of principles, theories and concepts.
•Advanced knowledge and experience with multiple functions within an organization.
•Experience in developing and managing departmental budget.
•Candidate will require broad knowledge with routing/switching, tunneling, security operations/engineering, MPLS.
•Core data processing or data communications experience •Firewall experience highly desired.

Work Conditions: •Some on-call responsibility and occasional off hours work required.
