Qualifications

Must Haves:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) preferred
  • 12 years related experience to include: 
    • Information Risk Management, Security Management & Governance
    • Network Design, Security Management and Security Audit
    • HITRUST experience required
    • Ability to leverage automation
    • Current with Cybersurity industry trends and emerging technologies
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong organizational, project management skills and stakeholder skills
    • High level of integrity and ethical standards
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to be a hands-on team member and expertly leverage a small team

Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $151,600 - $227,400 30% bonus

Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States (Company Headquarters are in Scottsdale AZ)

Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:

The Vice President of IT Security & Infrastructure is a crucial leadership position responsible for safeguarding an organization's information assets and ensuring the robust operation of its IT infrastructure. This role combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to protect the organization against security threats while maintaining the integrity, availability, and performance of IT systems and platforms. Responsible for determining enterprise information security policy and strategy, and managing the Infrastructure Managed Services Provider.  Advises and assists executives with infrastructure design, data security, privacy, risk management, compliance, training, as well as managing potential risks, threats, and vulnerabilities present in the environment. This position requires an experienced infrastructure and cybersecurity leader who has experience leading dedicate security and vendor management team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security standards and procedures.
  • Lead the design and deployment the IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, standards, procedures and audits.
  • Manage the Vulnerability Management Program, risk management, compliance, security awareness and training, BCP.
  • Oversee Vendor management of data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Review all cybersecurity and physical security throughout the organization, and act as a liaison to the Information Systems Compliance Committee (ISCC), chaired by the General Counsel.
  • Manage Security Monitoring with hands on Rapid7 IDR / MDR, CrowdStrike, other tools and manages security validation
  • Lead security validation, including SAST, DAST, and independent penetration testing.
  • Manage disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
