The Vice President Business Intelligence and Analytics, assists in the development and execution of the company's Business Intelligence and Clinical Analytics strategy. Leads all areas of Business Intelligence and Analytics to provide quality data and information to drive positive financial and qualitative outcomes. Develops and executes new business intelligence processes, while improving on current strategies. Coordinates and manages departmental activities, resources, and training, to ensure maximum positive financial impact to the organization. Develops and elevates relationships with company business units and Information Technology.

Responsibilities

•Works collaboratively with company stakeholders (Care Management, Provider Engagement, IT, Finance) to define, document, execute and deliver on business/systems requirements, and criteria to support the company's health informatics strategy

•Leads and interfaces with relevant parties to resolve issues, and maintain/accelerate progress to meet informatics projects outcomes

•Oversees the design and development of the business intelligence, and analytics strategy, including policies, and frameworks. Responsible for Business Intelligence and Analytics and company wide adoption of Business Intelligence tools

•Supports large/complex health informatics projects, by identifying key work flows, establishing departmental/cross functional teams, developing project plans, milestones, and structures to communicate, report, execute and deliver on defined goals

•Communicates strategic and operational intelligence concepts and findings to all levels of the organization. This includes developing communication vehicles that summarize conclusions and recommendation from projects, presenting actionable data, and proposing strategic and operational options for debate and consideration by the organization.

•Strategically partners with IT to assess, develop/acquire the appropriate tools to maximize department productivity and deliver department objectives.

•Advanced degree in Business Intelligence/Informatics, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.

•Seven years of supervisor experience and or experience leading project teams

•Ten years of progressive experience of business intelligence and analytics in a health care/health insurance environment

•Advanced knowledge of health care, health insurance, business intelligence, health care analytic modeling

•Demonstrated effectiveness at a senior level in planning, leading, organizing, and directing staff, teams, and projects in multiple locations, and with multiple stakeholders, simultaneously

•Ability to work well with all levels within the organization, including executive management, information technology and direct reports
