Product Marketing Intern

Nextracker's Product Management team is the catalyst between Product Engineering and Global Marketing, identifying market opportunities, validating product-market fit and developing messaging and sales enablement content. We are looking for an enthusiastic summer intern who comes with an open mind to learn and advance and who will help us mining our wealth of data and experience to tell our story.
This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California.
What You'll do:
- Conduct market research to identify key trends and opportunities
- Analyze data to derive insights that inform product marketing strategies and decision-making
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote Nextracker products and solutions
- Use SQL and other data analysis tools to manipulate and interpret large datasets to help us tell our stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and sales to support product launches and go-to-market strategies
- Leverage data science techniques to enhance marketing effectiveness and optimize customer engagement.
What we are looking for:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field
- Knowledge of marketing analytics principles and techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet fixed deadlines for deliverables
- Team player with ability to work with employees of varying levels of seniority across multiple functions
- Extra qualification in electrical engineering or similar field preferred
