Analyst, Marketing Automation

The Marketing Automation Analyst position is responsible for defining and implementing marketing campaigns that help drive new customer acquisition, retention, increased repurchase frequency and expanded daypart offerings' sales growth.  You will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing automation application, Marketo, creating rules based on customer behavior that drive automated marketing campaigns and analyzing and measuring the campaign results. You will act as liaison between sales and marketing to create robust content for each of the planned campaigns by customer segment and expected customer results. 

This position is work from home until at least Fall 2021 with the potential of being based in Newton, MA with a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve required KPIs: Increased open rates, conversions and sales results of marketing campaigns

  • Establish the strategic goals and expectations for each marketing campaign, including identification of customer segment and behaviors to be included in campaigns.

  • Incorporate rules to ensure that marketing campaigns communicate effectively with customers but adhere to cadence and communication limitations and marketing rules of engagement (GDPR, Panera).

  • Create customer journey maps and appropriate marketing communications based on customer's stage.

  • Project manage the campaigns from conception to launch, achieving deliverables of key milestones and dates.

  • Analyze and report on each marketing campaign.  Identify patterns and interpret data and make recommendations for adjustments and future campaigns.

  • Establish analytics and metrics to identify which activities are performing best; turning prospects into customers, reduce conversion times, increase repurchase, increase retention, increase daypart purchases etc. 

  • Act as liaison with the sales team on upcoming marketing campaigns and initiatives to inform and collaborate on current and future campaigns. 

  • Act as liaison with marketing develop campaign content, including, input on strategic goals, expectations, creative and copy.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing automation applications and ability to establish and implement rules, along with extraction of data for analysis.

  • Work as an extension of the sales and sales enablement team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of current marketing automation experience, Marketo preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, similar fields or higher preferred  

  • Working knowledge of A/B testing and analysis

  • Strong knowledge of SFDC

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, word)

  • Strong ability to analyze data and create financial models to interpret customer data

  • Ability to create reports and dashboards in Marketo

  • Demonstrates excellence in time management through use of Outlook Calendar and SalesForce.com and other online resources to maximize organization, strategic planning and follow-up

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Sense of urgency, attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Experience working in an extended sales team model preferred

  • Strong time management skills and follows through on commitments
