What You Will Do:
The Clinical Educator role is responsible for each new hire's onboarding plan, unit education, and staff development for a particular department at Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals. The SDS provides instruction to new hires required to attend clinical team orientation, which outlines the primary expectations and key deliverables for the organization. Examples include the training and validation of skills to ensure competency and continued growth throughout the employees' careers. This individual systematically reviews and evaluates the work and outcomes to ensure regulatory and safety measures are in place and adhered to. This role participates in strategic committees to serve as a resource as well as to create education and communication plans to successfully implement new processes, procedures, and the use of clinical equipment.
What You Will Need:
- Minimum Education level is a Master's degree in Nursing
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Previous clinical experience in a specific clinical setting required
- Department-specific certification preferred
- Certified Instructor in one of the following areas preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP, PEARS
