Schedule Details: Join the dynamic and collaborative Palliative Care team at ProHealth Care. This is a Monday-Friday role with working hours from 8-4:30. 

 

What You Will Do:

 

The Program Assistant supports the Manager, providers, and another member of the interdisciplinary Home Care team, as well as performing administrative and office support activities for the department as needed. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, a quick thinker who can quickly complete tasks and projects with minimal guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a fast turnaround. They demonstrate flexibility with the daily work routine, reprioritizing as needed to meet program demands. The individual demonstrates attention to detail, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. They will need to be well organized and multi-task smartly and timely. The individual must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.


 

What you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years, with 4 or more preferred, related experience.
  • Valid State of WI Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, EPIC experience.
  • Must be able to prioritize and organize workflow to ensure effectiveness and efficiency; manage tight deadlines.
  • Ability to initiate, plan, implement and follow up on assignments.
  • Ability to recognize sensitive issues and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain performance in high pressure situations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail needed.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills exercising discretion and diplomacy in working with internal and external contacts.
