The Housing Administrative Coordinator will coordinate purchasing and inventory control activities for the Housing Office. Will provide administrative support to the procurement department through data entry and creation of purchase orders, including entering changes to purchase orders and submitting special requests or rush orders as needed. The Housing Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing documents submitted by the managers for prospective vendors to ensure compliance with all requirements. Must review and process vendor's invoices against purchase orders issuing adjustments and resolving any invoicing discrepancies as needed. Manage accounting and bookkeeping tasks to complete purchasing transactions, ensure purchase orders and other transaction documents are received and understood and work with the Housing Department to support sourcing activities and supplier selection. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring buying practices and delivery performance balanced with controlling inventory investment, recommending procedures and guidelines for assigned procurement projects, and performing other duties consistent with the purpose of the position as assigned.
