SAIC has an opening for a PC Technician to support the USSOCOM SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. The USSOCOM mission is to provide fully capable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to defend the United States and its interests and synchronize planning for global operations against terrorist networks. You will support the USSOCOM mission as we partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connect over 70,000 users around the world in the areas of software development / maintenance, network services, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation. This position is based on-site at Fort Bragg, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of end user support services for on-site customers and as directed by leadership.
Coordinates with end users, Enterprise CSD, Site / Local Helpdesk, OEMS, and Network, Server, Architecture, and / or Engineering Teams.
Manages and provides day-to-day support for End User Devices that provide local or remote access, whether using wired or wireless connectivity.
Provides telephony instrument services including but not limited to provision telephones, configures and connect VoIP telephones, key secure equipment, change the usernames, enable and disable extension mobility, and activate and deactivate telephone features.
Integrates, tests, and verifies VDI client hardware and software with USSOCOM's VDI standard client image.
Conducts application and data migration necessary as a result of hardware or software IMAC or re-installation.
Builds, configures, and tests IT equipment in accordance with applicable standard hardware configuration(s), software image(s), procedures, and specific requirements.
Plans, engineers, coordinates, installs, and/or manages equipment installations.
Integrates, tests, and verifies remote access hardware and software.
Provides status of ongoing technical initiatives.
Provides IMAC services.
Conducts pre-install and site surveys as necessary.
Troubleshoots and repairs hardware, software, and network issues.
Updates management tools as required.
Recommends upgrades to and replacements for hardware and software utilized by VDI clients.
Must have experience with Remedy for receiving, documenting, and closing tickets.
Must have experience with SCCM, McAfee, InTune, Forescout, Tivioli, and/or Hypori to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Position may require travel up to two times per calendar year.
Qualifications
Education / Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of related experience; OR Master's Degree and 2+ years of related experience; OR AA with 6+ years of related experience; OR HS with 8+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
DoDD 8570.01-M IAT Level II
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired.
