This position will have the responsibility of managing and directing production operations (under the leadership of the Plant Manager) for Plant 65 Extrusion, Twist, and Heatset processes. The Production Manager will support and lead these teams to achieve safety, service, quality, production, and cost goals with a vision of continuous improvement toward a world class organization. The Production Manager must be able to inspire/motivate the team, both salaried and hourly, by fostering trusting and collaborative relationships.
Oversee day to day operations of Extrusion, Twist, and Heatset departments.
Assist with planning and coordination of daily priorities for operations and provide direction to Department Managers as needed.
Ensure production delivers the desired results in the operational areas of safety, quality, service, productivity and cost. Escalate key misses to the leadership team.
Drive production department strategic plans to completion.
Drive PX performance and development for Department Managers through one on one conversations and goal setting.
Assist with resolution of any job-related problems or concerns including maintenance, hiring, training, quality, safety, and employee relations.
Foster and drive customer concentric relationships between plant and customers.
Ensure daily and weekly reporting accuracy
Assist in preparation of budgets and standards for cost measurement and manage operations within that budget.
Fill in for Plant Manager as needed.

4 year degree
4+ years of management experience required
Proven ability to improve processes and lead cost reduction initiatives.
Proven ability to lead others effectively and develop organizational talent
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
