Description

 The Territory Manager is a critical member of Shaw's sales team. This individual will have a unique opportunity to work remotely while managing high-potential accounts across a selected territory. This role will be 80-90% virtual sales while getting to go on-site as needed to sell in person. Shaw will invest industry-leading sales training (ranked within Training Magazine's Top 100) into this position. High-performing Territory Managers also have strategic career training and advancement opportunities to grow within the sales organization. 

  

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships 

  • Operating as the main point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts  

  • Grow sales quotas (revenue and margin) of high potential accounts to increase Shaw's market share 

  • Develop strategies and tactics to achieve desired results for account base  

  • Prospect and onboard new accounts   

  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)  

  • Utilize Salesforce.com CRM to build account knowledge, design sales cadences, email templates, and custom reporting  

  • Prepare reports on account status and report to Business Development and Field Sales leadership  

  • Listen and learn our dealers' business and need to provide recommendations, solutions, and product information on a daily basis 

  • Be devoted to continuous learning and developing sales skills and product knowledge  

  • Responsible for selling and promoting all residential product labels, including but not limited to, Shaw Floors and Philly Commercial, and educating customers on these products.  

  • Must continually develop a keen awareness of what is happening within their designated geographic area  

  • Continuous skills training and refinement 

  • Have a desire to be an integral part of a high functioning team

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred. 

  • This position requires the ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.  

  • The candidate must have the ability to use technology such as but not limited to Salesforce (CRM), Shaw in-house systems, and other technology tools.  

  • Applicants must also be physically able to lift, assemble and take down display fixtures.  

  • Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards.   

  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.  

  • Associate must live in designated geography - Greater New York City/Outer Boroughs
