We're looking for a passionate, creative and motivated Brand Marketer, who is seeking a challenging yet rewarding role within one of the leading brands in QSR today. This role requires strategic thinking, strong attention to detail, a strong sense of creativity, and extreme comfort working in a cross functional team setting. The Brand Manager will be a key member among Sonic's dynamic, fast-paced culture, and playing a critical role in driving continued category growth through innovation and strategy. The Category Brand Manager will manage the day-to-day business and performance of the category businesses, drive growth through product innovation, manage the cross functional process, run the execution of all promotional tactics and manage the development and validation of a powerful pipeline. We are looking for a hands-on and inspirational contributor who can motivate others.
Manages development of data-driven marketing strategies that supports “go to market” plans for national calendar.
Builds strategic occasion-based plans including recommendations for products and promotional support.
Responsible for working closely with key cross-functional partners to fully articulate vision and strategy needed to produce highly successful results.
Recommends strategic direction of product related occasions to senior marketing management.
Monitors sales to diagnose trends or further understand where fortification can be added to business occasions.
Develops product creative briefs for creative agency rooted in consumer insights.
Manages cross functional process to ensure flawless go to market execution.
Evaluates and recommends new pipeline products and opportunities based on financial viability and brand fit.
Manages assessment of occasion-based performance, developing real time strategies to maintain business results.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
4 year degree in Business or Marketing required
5 - 7 years of product or brand marketing experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Possess strong business acumen and leadership skills.
Has the ability to think strategically as a visionary.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially the ability to explain difficult concepts and insights in applicable business terms. Strong ability to summarize insights into PowerPoint presentations in clear and understandable calls to action.
Ability to collaborate and motivate across the product, sales, and marketing teams.
Self-starter with the ability to project manage and handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet all desired deadlines.
Strong leadership, sales support, project management and training skills.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to listen and translate details attentively.
Efficient at working under pressure, deadlines, and stretch extra house to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
