
Description
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering company compensation programs, and maintaining compensation systems, procedures, and controls consistent with the Firm's policies and practices. Analyzes market data and slots jobs within the grade structure. This position works with the Compensation Manager and HR Business Partners to provide analysis of compensation data while acting as a subject matter expert and point of contact for compensation solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Conduct analytical data work, job analysis work, and prepare recommendations using compensation techniques and methods.
- Benchmark base salary and salary compensation programs while ensuring the Firm's competitive position.
- Deliver consultative compensation and pay support to business groups and coordinates activities to ensure equitable compensation practices.
- Contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of the compensation infrastructure.
- Conduct the annual review of pay structures, including market analysis and benchmark job calibration.
- Research different vendors and provide recommendations for benchmark salaries.
- Assist in developing training, communication and marketing materials to employees and managers.
- Participate in compensation surveys, review salary survey reports, and act as the point of contact for survey vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- In collaboration with managers and business partners, design, develop and maintain skill based job descriptions.
What You'll Bring
- Solid knowledge of compensation administration, legislation, and compliance.
- Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of complicated tasks.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Significant amount of organization and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to find trends in large sets of compensation data.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Required: 4+ years' of experience in the field of compensation, especially in administering various compensation programs (job evaluation and analysis, compensation legal compliance, salary survey participation, and other similar experience).

- Minimum Required: None
Systems & Technology
- Advanced skills in Excel including ability to use vlookups, complex formulas, and other advances functions to complete analyses
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
