Under general supervision, audit mortgage files and procedures for completeness, accuracy and compliance to company guidelines and policies. Detect and mitigate quality issues. • Review approved and closed conventional, FHA, VA and portfolio mortgages for acceptable origination and legal documents necessary to approve a loan application.
• Understand and apply investor, GSE, portfolio, and insure guidelines when reviewing a file.
• Re-verify collateral, asset, income and credit documentation used to approve the loan application ensuring sound underwriting guidelines were applied and policies were followed.
• Review origination system for data accuracy, report findings and trends to the Quality Control Manager.
• Build and foster collaborative relationships creating open communication to share curative findings and resolutions.
• Report findings and trends to the Quality Control Manager
• Review the file for regulatory compliance including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth-in-Lending laws, etc.

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma
• Minimum Required: 3+ years' related experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
